The Lunar Regolith Necklace is based on the texture of the bedrock that covers the moon. It is a continuation of The Lunar Seas Necklace, where these people carved the lunar seas into a rock using only the naked eye, The Lunar Regolith Necklace imagines what they would have carved into a rock if they possessed telescopic imagery of the moon. This piece marries the past methodology of carving with modern technology.
