This piece comes on a 14-16 inch adjustable chain. The total length of the chain including the casting, is 17 inches.

The Gift to the Gods Necklace is based on a series of bronze scabbards that feature La Tène art. When burying their dead this ancient culture often placed things in the grave, likely to help the soul on its journey to the otherworld, and what also seems to be an attempt at appeasing the gods. It was a widespread custom to leave metal objects and other things with the dead, and archaeologists have called these 'gifts to the gods' among other things.
