This piece is inspired by a spear found at The River Blackwater in Ireland. The spear that was discovered is one of very sophisticated design. The interlacing forms on the spear are done in La Tène style, which was prominent during the Iron Age.

This piece can be worn with The Gift to the Gods Necklace. Both the Blackwater Spear Necklace and the Gift to the Gods Necklace are examples of weapons that are known to be buried with the dead in an attempt to appease the gods.
