Proving once and for all that hard work and a touch of fighting spirit is all one needs to battle a recession; I have finally managed to land an editorial job with a wonderful publishing house called WW Publishing. I have been working as the assistant editor of Vintage Spirit magazine for two weeks now and all seems to be going well.

As you can imagine I have had to focus solely on my work within the company as opposed to any extra curricular activities I would otherwise partake in. This has included practically all aspects of my social life as well as writing for videogames.

This has made me sad.

While I have revelled in my diet of cold pizza and honey roasted cashew nuts I feel it is time to get back on an even keel; after all, do miss the old girl hugely.

So I aim to pick up where I left off a month ago, beginning with the chart analysis every Monday and an article or two throughout the week.
